Sounds reasonable to me. Make sure you send it via signed-for delivery ;)
  • On Saturday I received this response from T-mobile :-

    Dear XXX

    Re: mobile number XXXXX XXXXXX

Thank you for writing to me in response to the letter you have received dated 2 November.

I am sorry to hear that you have not received the delivery of your new XXX pay as you go handset. I can fully appreciate the inconvenience and disappointment this must be causing you.

I have spoken to Royal Mail and they have confirmed that the item was delivered on 7 September; however they do not have a record of the signature of the person who accepted the parcel.

Therefore, we have submitted a claim with them this will take approximately 10 days to process. Once we have received confirmation that the package has gone missing in transit we will arrange your refund of the £109.99 inc VAT paid at the time your order was processed.

Thank you once again for taking the time to contact me XXX. I trust you find this information useful.

    Yours sincerely

So it looks like I'm finally making some progress - although I won't rest until the money is back in my account !

    cheers, Bev.

Why are you asking for proof of delivery? You know it wasn't delivered to the correct address. Tell them it wasn't delivered to your address and tell them you want to ask for a refund or for the handset.
    The above is why!
