I have contacted payplan, I am still getting calls from the credit cards and I have told them about payplan, but the people on the phone are such bullies and really don't care.

    Sorry not feeling positive today

Dont ignore letters. Has Payplan advised you to make token payments? Have you got a justabank account. If you are receiving phonecalls and letters you must inform them that Payplan is acting on your behalf and give them your Paypln ID number. Once you start telling your creditors you are in a DMP(?) they will begin to leave you alone and deal with payplan. Your financial situation should get better and payplan should have determined how much you can pay your creditors and how much you have free. Dont be afraid of detatiling your circumstances on here. The information you give the DFWs the more help and advice you will get. Look at how much debt I've got. All my interest is frozen, I've paid over 5K of debt and almost 3K in savings. Believe me the only way is up, but if you want this website to work for you, which it will you must be frank about your circumstances. Remember you're anonymous. You may wish to change the title of this thread to something like. 'Newbie here - I need all of you valuable advice'. This people will recognise your plight more and you will be pleasantly surprised how many will want to help!

I know things will get better, if I did not have this website to look at I would of gone mad, I have spoken to my boyfriend but I never tell the whole truth I find it too hard.

And usually when I tell people they say its your fault and how did you get in so much debt - you just don't need to hear that!!!!!

Have you changed the thread title like I mentioned. It would be a good idea.

It sounds like you have other issues - by that I mean that your boyfriend doesn't know - and that is an issue in itself. Start another thread. Don't be scared!

Something like 'Newbie - Need Some of Your Kind Help'. Then explain everything. Your current financial plight - list all of your debts and I mean all of them and to whom you owe and obviously how much you earn. Your previous job and the money you owe them and that fact that your boyfriend doesn't know the whole truth. And watch the help flood in. I found this website helped me so much and I felt completely invigorated. Be honest!
