I didn't know you couldn't use your advantage card points to buy stuff on the 3 for 2, bit unhappy about that!
500 Nectar points is 2.50 off at Argos, so if you've a few thousand you'll save a few quid.Member of the first Mortgage Free in 3 challenge, no.19

KathrynPenguin wrote:I'm also going for an "income free xmas". My rule is that I can spend anything except my income. I had the following to start.
£68 in Boots Advantage
£725 Tesco clubcard (was originally saving for a Rolex!)
£15 Nectar
£147 Quidco
£77 PayPal (sale of old junk on Ebay)
£5 high street vouchers
£15 John Lewis vouchers.
Will keep my sig up to date with how I'm doing.
That lot would keep me going for about five Christmases let alone one!

Is that £725 worth of deals? Am assuming no one could have that many in tesco vouchers alone, so thinking it's deals, but just thought I'd ask, lol.0 -
Hiya might sound a bit thick but what is pigsback? - We have found that the older relatives like photo's of the kids so we got the kids to make/decorate photo frames - got a job lot from Ikea & local £ shop. They went down really well we also made marzipan fruits. Kept the kids entertained for hours, there were a few remarks from school about their strangely coloured fingers tho:-) lol0

Yeah, its deals - I still don't want to spend them all but I though I could buy a few pressies from Goldsmiths the jewellers. I'm moving so I might also buy some stuff from MFI for the new house but their stuff is soo overpriced I'm loathe to do it. Much rather go to Ikea and pay half the money for what I really want. The best things in life are NOT free - but they sure are cheaper with MSE!:j0 -
