Since my job is to keep our office well stocked with stationery I'm bagging lots of free gifts that the stationery suppliers hand out like toys and torches when you order from them :D
My Doctor told me that "1 out of 3 people who start smoking will eventually die." The other two apparently became immortal.

Thanks guys! Had forgotten about nectar, just checked my points and I've a few thousand there so may be able to do something with that.

I didn't know you couldn't use your advantage card points to buy stuff on the 3 for 2, bit unhappy about that!

I did get the 3 for 2 last year using points - the till automatically put it through. I was surprised that you could do both 3 for 2 and redeem points so I would check first at your store before writing it off.

I was in our big Boots in town on Tuesday and used my points on 3 gifts and i got the 3 for 2 no problems. In fact i handed over my card told her i wanted to redeem points and the first thing she said was i hope you have 3 items cause its 3 for 2. She was really nice and helpful. I was chuffed cause i got £55 worth of stuff for 4000 points and more importantly no cash! Will be using my points to buy more before xmas too.

so far have got a 'Cars' book free, 3 pairs of socks from M & M and a Dora Explorer DVD from Amazon voucher codes :)

Seemed to have done better last year, a few family members got CD's using the vouchers I got from Pigsback, still got another couple of months left to score some more points from surveys :T
  • Thanks for the advice about the advantage evening elona!
Thanks edinburgh, i've used the leisure vouchers for meals out, have never got a boots one or evans - I take it they don't have anythijng about pigsback on them?
  • no the vouchers don't mention pigsback or anything like that on them, just normal boots vouchers (vouchers though, not giftcards)
  • I'm also going for an "income free xmas". My rule is that I can spend anything except my income. I had the following to start.

    £68 in Boots Advantage
£725 Tesco clubcard (was originally saving for a Rolex!)
    £15 Nectar
    £147 Quidco
£77 PayPal (sale of old junk on Ebay)
    £5 high street vouchers
    £15 John Lewis vouchers.

Will keep my sig up to date with how I'm doing.
The best things in life are NOT free - but they sure are cheaper with MSE!:j
