Tesco credit limits on 0% purchase cards?

Hi
My husband and I are doing some major buidling work/house rennovation and are thinking of using a 0% purchase card to make the big purchases, rather than a loan, to tide us over till we remortgage in March and hopefully add it all on there.
Thing is we need 18k ish so are guessing we're looking at each getting a card each and hoping the credit limits offered will be enough. And of course we don't just want to go around applying willy nilly to find out!
Is this naive to think we'll get it? We're both quite high earners and have decent equity on our house. 0% just seems too good to ignore for the few months we'll need the money.
Any insight/advice welcome!
thanks

Not impossible. Think I got around 8K on Tesco's card. Of course it will vary depending on circumstances, but that does at least show they can give out that kind of limit to new applicants.
You might make it if you apply for a couple of cards each. Even if you don't raise the full amount, anything could be helpful.0
