hi there after cleaning up my credit file i finally started to get accepted for credit again
i have a capital one card with a small 200pound limit
balance 175 at the moment never missed a payment for five months whats the best way of asking them to increase this as christmas is fast approaching if i pay it of in full would that help0 -

Generally you don't.
Capital one operate a "Don't contact us, we will contact you" policy.
You could try writing to them, but I wouldn't fancy your chances.0 -

If you're too close to the limit, which you are, they won't give you one. If you don't get an increase in a month time which would be 6 months since you got the card, then you'll have to wait another 6 months before they consider it....0
