Do you have any other poker programs on your comp. a lot of firms share the same software but some even share the same programs/servers
Coral poker used to be ( maybe still is ) Party poker with a differnet skin. it was just branded as Coral you were actually playing on Party !!. you could not register for one if the other was already on your comp. ( i know i tried)
not sure who VC poker are affilated with but could be one of a fewBetter in my pocket than theirs :rotfl:0 -
They have this all the time they own many rooms if you have registered with any of these before it wont let you open a real money account , just contact a manager and they will sort it out for you >!If it doesn't fit, force it; if it breaks, it needed replacement anywaySarcasm helps keep you from telling people what you really think of them

IP address is a red herring, that will have changed.
If you had to install specific VC Poker software on the PC when you joined the first time around, there's a good chance that it hid a file somewhere on your hard drive as well as making registry edits.
Assuming that it did not make more subtle registry changes than you can find, the chances are that it is this hidden file, somewhere on your PC, that it is now finding.
Choices:
1. Borrow a friend's "clean" computer to sign up - but this assumes that you are not tied to the computer used to register.
2. If this genuinely is an error on their part - ie your previous account is not the type that precludes you from the offer - Email their customer services with as much data as you can and they ought to be reasonable and open the account.
I guess the question also needs to be asked whether they are still able to operate, given the recent change in law in the USA about online gaming.0 -
No its nothing to do with IP address, History or anything else people think it is,
There terms and conditions say you can NOT register the same details with more than one account, VC are in the Tribecca Tables group so if someone registers with that group it stands for everyone thats in that grounp two , unless you yalk to the manager and they will unlock you striaght away...
You could even restore you machine and it woulnt make any differance what so everIf it doesn't fit, force it; if it breaks, it needed replacement anywaySarcasm helps keep you from telling people what you really think of them

Thanks to all for suggestions. I contacted the 'manager' at the time and he wasn't prepared to help
Guess I'll have to give up on this one

could it be they take details of the computer like name, cpu , etc...NURSE: "Shouldn't it be sterilized, doctor?"
DR. BENWAY: "Very likely but there's no time."0 -
Well I don't wish to scare you but probably they have some way of access to your computer like a specific trojan unique to them, and wont be picked up by any antivirus etc. Probably won't be used by them for any other reason other than their own business.
The reason I'm saying this is some time ago I was banned from a website (not really my fault I just told one of the ops that ther policy was unfair, but I wont go into that) and lile you I cleaned out cookes etc different ip. I tried everything but no good. Because I use the net to buy things etc I reformated my drive, and also reinstalled a second version of windows on a different partition which I use only for the serious things like shopping online etc. Afer reformating, the site I couldn't access was ok, I could access it all right then
I know its a drag, but I think its worth it

You say that a program download is involved? Are there Application Data folders associated with it? Or there may be some kind of software protection measures in other registry entries, similar to those that stop people repeating free trial periods by reinstalling.0
