Help, pensioner needs help with PC

Hi Hope someone can help out a pensioner here. I have Vista basic and for quite a few months now I keep getting a problem with my PC not booting up Sometime it will and sometimes not. I get the black screen with just the Microsoft green bar running at the bottom. It can take up to 5/6 times turning on and off before it…

Forgot to mention I did take all the leads out and put the vac all around the outside on the main processor and it was very dusty. I ran a scan on both Avast and Malwarebytes and it did come up with different infections that I cleared. Plus I also ran a C Clean.

I won't know if all that has worked as yet, as I said before it was intermitent but no doubt a few days will tell.
