ASDA Credit Card Payments

Hi All,

I'm a total newbie so please be kind!
I got an ASDA credit card in the summer and requested to pay the balance in full each month by direct debit. My October statement said they would collect the full amount of £287 on or after 22 Oct - yesterday they took a direct debit of £37!!!!
Has anyone else had problems with there payment collections? I'm really thinking about cancelling this card as the benefits (Asda vouchers) don't seem to outweigh the problems I've had with them (I've requested several times to manage my account online with no success).

Any advice or experiences would be appreciated:)

I would send them a letter about it.

As a general rule, I've found that the staff who read and respond to letters are brighter than the ones who answer the phone.
