    Of course this is genuine.

After all if you had land worth £3 million you'd be only too happy to spend money advertising it and employing salespeople to sell it to people for £500k, and let these strangers make the extra £2.5million profit, wouldn't you.

I mean that's what all sensible businesses do, isn't it??

Plott uk is a scam by clever people, praying on the vulnerability and good will of people who want to invest money to secure their future in what are difficult times.

No its not - its a scam designed to appeal entirely to peoples greed and nothing more.

They sucker people in with the promise of easy money and if people can't see that this is a scam then they deserve to get entirely ripped off. Why would some company contact you entirely out of the blue and offer you an amazing deal? They wouldn't, clearly there will be a hefty catch, as others have already pointed out.

Well some people are greedy and some are just naive. Ultimately, it is the scammers who are in the wrong imo.
  • If its agricultural land then its roughly £4000 acre and there is possibility of getting planning permission on agricultural land just depends on how you go about it.

Just let me know how, the most influential building company round here was not able to.

About 20 years back my brother-in-law was involved in a motorcycle accident and received a few grand compensation. His solicitor recommended that he invest it some land which was for sale locally at £2k/acre. He didn't listen and spent the money on a car (a Citroen :rotfl:). A couple of years ago this same land was changing hands at £1 million/acre.

Anecdotally interesting, but not exactly a reason to give money to confirmed scammers.

It's a bit like saying, 20 yrs ago this young upstart asked me for £500 for 25% of his new startup company - I declined. His name was Bill Gates and that 25% is now worth $45billion dollars....so when some bloke from Spain offers you shares buy them as quickly as you can.

Plott UK Ltd is now the object of winding up proceedings in the High Court on suspicion of breach of Financial Services and Markets Act 2000. If the proceeding are successful a liquidator will be appointed to oversee the winding up, including the recovery of assets and eventually distribution to the creditors of the company.
In similar cases the companies in question were insolvent.

The staff of Plott UK are now operating under a company called European Property Investments UK Ltd.

Well my house was built in the green belt, if you have enough land, you can put in for it to be agricultural building, so we have a farm house and 3 barns, sit on the land and house for a few years and you can get planning permission for more houses.
