Just recieved this - glitch on the system already???

It does include other stores' offers.
But when you're shopping in Asda you don't know what Tesco has on offer.

Lets say Tesco and Asda both sell sausages and bacon for £1 a pack.
You want a pack of sausages and a pack of bacon.

Tescos are doing bogof on sausages.
Asda are doing bogof on bacon.

You go to Asda and, due to the bogof, buy 2 packs of bacon and 1 pack of sausages. It costs you £2.
Asda will claim that to buy the same would have cost you £3 in Tesco, so Asda is £1 cheaper.
I.e. you buy according to Asda's offers, so they're bound to be cheaper.

Also, to get anything back you need (the comparable items on) your whole bill to be cheaper elsewhere. And your whole bill needs to have at least 5 comparable items.

Plus you get clubcard points at Tesco, so Tesco can be a few percent more expensive and still be better value.

Basically, you're unlikely to ever get anything back.
Very good marketting, though.

yes very good marketing - the whole bill needs to be cheaper , I just checked again and it went through this time , 5 things I purchased were cheaper in tesco but bevause overall it was cheaper its not valid!!

Not exactly what I thought but there we go!

Excuse me, I may drive through there but I'm NOT from Kettering - I'm from the posh town to the north :rotfl:. Saw us advertised in London yesterday as North Londonshire
