Car Leasing Query

I was thinking of leasing a car for personal use and was wondering whether someone can help me out with some answers with the following queries:

1) Is there a minimum age for leasing a car or does that vary from companies to companies?

2) In reagards to insurance, is this included or not? In addition can you have a second driver insured?

3) Are there any key disadvantages of leasing a car?

Hi, we lease my OH's car as she uses/claims it for business.

1) Our leasing co (FordLeasing) allows any aged named driver, though for 1st 12 months after passing test they need to be accompanied - after that there are just increased excesses depndant upon age.

2) Yes, in our case, insurance is included (hence the younger drivers in (1)) though I guess this varies between companies. Extra drivers are covered by a one-off payment.

3) Tax allowances can get complicated; you can get stung for any minor damage on return of the motor; you need to keep track of the mileage - excess miles get expensive.
