General opinion on this forum is to turn teatimer off. My personal opinion is not to use spybot -just about worthless.

Don't have Spybot installed anymore, but when I did on my XP machine I found it really annoying and so disabled TT. I just rely - by and large - on my anti-virus defense now. and common sense.0

Disable Spybot's TeaTimer
- Run Spybot and click Mode in the top menu
- Select Advanced Mode.
- Then expand the Tools selection in the left pane by clicking on it.
- Now in the left pane Resident.
- Now in the right window pane, uncheck TeaTimer

I use Spybot but have turned the teatimer off. Found it takes ages to load at startup and is CPU intensive. Also popups with all sorts of annoying SH!!te.Justice will not be served until those who are unaffected are as outraged as those affected (Benjamin Franklin) JFT96...YNWA0
