Santander Friend Referral

I think their online area is horrible. Its the worst online banking I have used / seen. So I disagree with your statement that they are the best.
Anyway I have googled your question. The computer says NO. They havent said anything to me. Communication, on the site, email or otherwise...
online is ok only bad as no FPS service (unlike HBOS and TSB)0 -
There hasnt really been a nickname introduced for santander yet. Under Abbey it was easy as they were known as Shabby. Best I have heard is Shatander. There cant be a bank with as bad a reputation as them.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.0

Glad to see you're all a helpful bunch......0

Hi geordie_ben, I'm afraid Santander does not offer a friend referral scheme. That's what I've been told by the branch.
We did use A&L friend referrals before and it worked brilliant.0 -

Thanks Sveika! Nice to know someone on here is interested in answering people questions instead of voicing opinions. Much appreciated Sveika!0 -
Why not move to a better bank eg First Direct and enjoy the welcome gift they offer? That'll give you some cash and avoid the inevitable satander problems.0

Do remember that this is a public forum and therefore you will find a mix of both.
There's no point getting het up about it!
Anyway, to answer your question, no Santander do not offer a refer a friend incentive according to their telephone CSA.
I don't have a current account with them but I do have their Zero credit card and must say apart from the initial delay / debacle to do with the credit agreement and card despatch they have been spot on in every other respect. IMO they've been no better or worse than any other card issuer I've dealt with.
So there you go, question answered and opinion all in one post, not so bad is it?!
Regards
