Carers allowance is paid 4 weekly and Income support is paid fortnightly.

Income Support is paid fortnightly but it is in arrears

if your finding budgeting your money hard you can write to you local income support office to have your payment changed from 2 or 4 weekly to weekly but its at the dicision makers discretion they dont have to do it, the same with carers normally a top up paid 4 weekly you can request 2 weekly payments weekly by letter request detailing your problems, again its down the decision maker discretion as to grant this.

My husbands Carers allowance is paid weekly and Income Support has just been changed this week from weekly to every2 weeks.
