camera wont charge??

Does anyone know of anywhere that can have a look at my camera and see what the problem with it is?? i lost the charger for it and only found it and plugged it in to charge but the wee light isnt going on? its a sony cybershot dsc-p12? i dont wanna have to buy a new camera as this is quite a good camera?

Has the battery been discharged for a long time? I don't think Li-ion batteries like being completely discharged. Perhaps you need a new battery.
Have you left it plugged in for a while? Sometimes my charger doesn't light up straight away.Charlie0 -
