Any abusive PM's should be reported immediately, MSE are pretty strict when it comes to members posting abuse via PM's.

The problem stems from some posters who come into the Martins Inn of the Disgruntled Barrack Room Lawyers Association, requesting that the chief priestess on high offers an absolution for their own failings.

These posts normally revolve around a theme, where the classical opus choristers and harp players flout their lullabies in expectant harmony, as the victim huggers amongst the parishioner rush to ridicule those who are against the OP. A good dosage of orange juice enriched hype, such as ‘Think of the Children, the cat is pregnant , think of the parents, I am an expert in this field’ comes into play .

I note there has been more than one thread on this subject in recent times, such as the metal glass shard found in my yogurt or ready meal, Someone stole my precious inanimate trinket, I did not really want to buy that car, why have they kept my deposit. I do not need an architect, I know how to handle builders, especially after 8 pints in the Dog and Duck.

We all have problems, we all have issues, yours may be important to you, but to others, it is really, sometimes trivial. In this area, I think we have more than one trivial issue, we have one post posters who praise with greatest enthusiasm, the virtues of some offerers, while others vent their spleen in degradation. All these without recourse or foresight to back up their statements, for if they should, the thin ice they are bounded on collapses under the weight of the next post that is proffered up.

Least to say in this parish, we are fortunate enough not to get into some tirade of hate, though I have some pms sent to me demanding that I give absolution and remove my remarks. In all, I think, as OP on this thread possibly does, give once the reason as to why not, then I ignore your tirade forever more. Normally the once response disperses them with their tails wagging. In reality, though, these cases are rare.

Alas, my glass in the Dog and Duck is only ever half full when it is half empty

Can I just say that although for much of the time I'm not entirely sure what Freddie is on about, hot diggety I enjoy his posts. They're hilariously rambling and often completely inane but if you dig theres a point in there somewhere ;)

    Hooray for Freddie.

And marginally back on topic, I find it rather awesome how some people get so angry on here over often the most trivial of details, they must have bits of keyboard stuck to their faces judging by some of the ire that spills from the screen.

Just to say it's only a forum people not real life and we can disagree, if you only want to hear answers you agree with don't post. Just had an abusive PM from some Muppet because they disagreed with a comment.

I think some people need some perspective. The Chandlers were kidnapped a year ago and have been kept by Somali pirates and people are getting angry about a few comments they don't agree with on a discussion forum. Please get out a little more.

Haha brilliant, I personally would have baited the sad muppet even more by PM but thats just me, tinternet warriors do make me smile.

However I do see your point about people taking the tinternet far to seriously. I wonder what these people would do with out the tinternet to vent their anger? Would they attach post it notes to phone boxes and pigeons in the hope they would get an answer?

Answers on a post it note please
