  • gadget show is not somewhere i'd take advice from, I seem to recall they recommended an appalling ISP a year or so ago

    The gadget show is pish! I'm convinced they think they're the Top Gear of the gadget world, when all they do is random features that whilst mostly are good TV mean nothing in reality.

    Have to agree with the above comments regarding the gadget show. Like all tv shows it is there for entertainment only.

    I was interested in what they said about Hotspot Shield but the reviews online put me completely off as it seems to be an adware and gets flagged up as a nasty by WOT and lots of anti-virus programs.

    Anyone has any experience with this for public WiFi spots?
    Do I want it? ......Do I need it? ......What would happen if I don't buy it??????

    haven't used it (VPN) but wouldn't surprise me in the slightest -- this is the GS!!!

    There are probably far better alternative free-ware VPNs out there.

    The gadget show used to be good, The prize draw thats massive is stupid, who will want 3 laptops 2 desktops, 5 tvs and 3 phones, ipod, ipad as well as all the other stuff. The winner just either gives it away or sells it on ebay.
