Is there any site that lets you see how long a property has been on the market for even if they have changed agents.
I have looked on property bee and it only shows when the property was listed with the current agent (june 2010) but I noticed another agents board down the side of the house so I assuming it was on with another EA before this.
Thanks

Once its removed from RightMove you cant see it in property bee, so cant see when its originally on. The best thing to do I find is to go to House Prices > Price comparison report, and then put in the postcode. It will show you properties no longer on the market - and will show the price, and date it was last advertised with the agent.
Its not ideal, but can give you a good idea if its been pinged around agents a bit (multiple entries) and its likely to have been up 16 weeks or so with the agent originally, so can give you a good idea.0 -
www.home.co.uk
This site has a bit more information than normal. Nice charts with length of time on market and price reductions (or increases:rotfl:).
If it is delisted and relisted this information is lost - but this is more or less the same for any site.0 -
Try asking the seller, either directly or through your own agent or lawyer. You never know, you might get an equally direct answer :-) Lies in the context of any negotiations in a transaction could come back to bite their maker so an honest answer or no answer at all is the only safe option. You'll know what to do after that.
Best of luck0 -
I did ask the vendor he said it had been on 8 wks - but has already been on 16 wks with this EA - so no honest answer.0

Sorry about that Betsie.
I am reluctant to post any sort of advice that links to or suggests other sites after reading through some nasty postings from 'jobsworth' types in relation to another thread on this site. Meantime, if you haven't had an honest answer to that simple enquiry then what other lies are you being told about the place. If you are still keen on the property then just tell the sellers politely but straight that your information is just as you have stated here and see if they relent.
I wouldn't want to say any more and I'll leave it to others to see what they suggest.0
