sorry if this is the wrong forum but i have a property in spain that i want to put up for rent. does anyone know of any good letting agencies located in the uk or good places to advertise. i had a look at a few sites on the net and most charge £80ish to advertise. i dont want to advertise with useless companies who take your money and do nothing. Any good companies?

Speaking from experience of letting a property in the canaries.
https://www.ownersdirect.co.uk produced loads of enquires many of which became booking.
Whereas https://www.holidaylets.net [run by the people who run RightMove] didn't. Holidaylets were doing an initial free 6 months, don't know whether they still are but to us that was what they were worth!!
I think you also need to look at the numbers of props in your area of Spain being advertised on a site. Some areas do look to have too many IMO, so yours won't stand out from the many.

thanks for that, will check it out, does anyone know of any other good sites or an agencies that do guranteed rental. Would ebay be a good possibilty?0
