I would pay it off in full. £2500 is a lot of extra money not to notice regardless of whether you read your statements (my mum does not read her statements usually but she would notice an extra £2500 to her balance).0

Just spoke with them, they're quite happy for me to repay it over the next three months (my suggestion). I told them that I'll pay it faster, if I'm able.
I think that's perfectly reasonable. It wasn't my error, it was theirs, compounded by taking eight months to notice it.0
