in Credit cards
Hi folks,
I am about to attempt to get credit to do a wee shuffle again as my rates on the cards have reverted back to a high interest again.
My big worry is that I remember that certain credit card providers are linked to other cards - so for example MBNA may also own tesco clubcard credit cards - therefore I wouldn't apply with them as I already have a clubcard credit card.
I currently have:
Tesco Clubcard credit card
Lloyds TSB credit card
Virgin Credit Card
I have been looking on the site, and I still cannot find the article which tells me if these are linked/owned by other credit card companies, so I can NOT apply with them again. I want to make sure that my application is worthwhile and not be rejected simply because I have applied with a company of whom I have a card already.
I hope that makes sense and would be really grateful of any advice.
Thank you in advance. :j

Hi
Virgin is part of the large MBNA stable.
This link may help, it tells you who issues the cards and also how long you need to have closed an account for to be classed as a new customer - http://www.stoozing.com/cards.phpA smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -

Yeah I know, that was just an example. I know some credit card companies are linked to others - or certainly used to be - and I just don't want to apply for one that is linked.26/09/2017 - Started comping again. Wins so far: 1!

Many many thanks. I think this is the exact article I've been looking for - or a very similar one.
