Retro fit glazing bars/trim to existing windows to look more original?

The large bay windows in my 1930s house have been replaced with plain double glazed units. The original windows had one angled window either side and 3 across the front of the bay. My replacement windows have one large window across the front part. Many neighbours have much better replacement windows which maintain the appearance of 3 separate windows across the front. Many are indeed separate windows but some seem to be little more than bars stuck over the glass which breaks up the large section of glazing and also makes it look a little bit more original. Is it possible to retrofit such bars to improve the appearance of my windows? I have had a look round on the net for ‘glazing bars’ but I’m not sure that is the right term. Or would it just look awful?
Cheers.

They are called Astragals.
Found example here:

I take it you have double glazed sealed units, if so then "Astrigals" are not the answer on their own. The problem is if you fit them to the inside of the windows and also the outside of the windows to give the impression of Glazing bars then you will always see the inside face of the the outside bead through the glass from the inside. This always looks pants TBH as they discolour and get very dirty.
One option is to replace the existing sealed units and have the new ones fitted with "Duplex" bars inside the units , these are internal spacer bars positioned in line with where your Astrigals(glazing bars) are to be fitted on the inside and outside of the glass units. This means that when you look through the glass you see a spacer bar between the panes of glass rather than seeing the unsightly external Astrigal on the outside.......0 -
You might just as well put masking tape on them as use those stick on things TBH.
