Mis-sold Pet Insurance policy...where do i stand??

As stated I have been mis-sold a pet insurance policy. Got a call from a well known insurance company last year offering me the same premium for life as long as i didn't leave them and then come back.

Told me that it would not change and would stay the same EVEN if i made claims on it.

Duly took out the policy and low and behold get a letter today and its shot up £4 p/m for a 1 yr old Labrador.

Called them up and they are checking back on the calls. I know I am correct with recolllection of the events that took place.

Basically...do i have any rights or where can i go with this when i am proven correct. Its not so much the £4 increase p/m but the mis-selling and lies to get me to sign up to the insurance contract.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

If they can find the call and verify what you say is correct then the likely outcome is that they will honour the price. If they cant find the call then its a different situation.
