I joined AQA a couple of years ago, and as far as I remember they took about a week to process the test (although somehow the e-mail to me got lost, and I only heard when I e-mailed to chase it up after a couple of weeks).

The amount of work varies quite a lot depending on whether they are doing a marketing drive, and things like holiday seasons. It is always busiest at the sort of times when people are sitting around in pubs with nothing to do, so if you have got spare time in the evenings or weekends, it is perfectly possible to do it alongside a 9-5 job.

I have just started with AQA this month and it took about a week before I could get started.

  • AQA seem to be only recruiting for ireland, aus and new zealand. are there any other sites like this and realistically how much time do you have to put in? eg is it feasible to do it alongside a full time job?

It is definitley feasible to do it alongside a full time job, and you can put in as much or as little time as you want. Generally speaking, if you do it during the day it can be quite slow, but if you are on in the evening, especially at the weekend it is very easy to rack up the earnings quite quickly. Definitely worth keeping checking on the website for jobs as they seem to be expanding very quickly and taking on lots of researchers at the moment. Its a great way to earn extra money at home without any commitment to set hours.

    Good luck

Thanks everyone, I didnt realise there were so many of you working for Aqa. I so want this, I am a SAHM but I do price checking fror a market research company one day a week which takes me a couple of hours at the most plus I have a website that gives me income but we need more to pay off debts so this would be ideal for me.

I'm hoping to do it during the day, evenings when I'm on here anyway (no MSE :( ) and weekends as and when it fits in.

  • Am I right in thinking that I would need to register as self employed with the tax office if I did this alongside my regular full time job?

Tiff, I am also a SAHM and I find that I do this in the evenings when the little ones are tucked up in bed. This also seems to be the time when there are the most questions available.
