Aqa - how long after sending back the test?

This is a question to those that work for Aqa, since I cant find any previous threads using the search facility although I know they are there!

I completed the Aqa application and test last night and sent it back, how long afterwards did you hear whether you got the job or not? I'm desperate to get started if they've accepted me

It was quite a while for me. i think it may have been over a week. i gave up any hope of being accepted but they did get back to me eventually. Anyhoo, be patient and they will get back to you. Good Luck

I'm about to do the application form - is it really,really difficult? 82ASK turned me down this week which I was gutted about as I thought I had a good level of english (as an English graduate) AND I do internet research as part of my job :embarasse

I didnt think it was too difficult. There were 12 questions which can take up to 10 mins each, therefore up to 2 hours but it took me about 45 minutes. You have to make sure your punctuation, spelling and grammar are spot on and end sentences with full stops etc. You also have to make sure your answers are between 120 and 153 characters long. They give you instructions to avoid failing. I dont have a degree so I'm hoping that wont go against me.

AQA seem to be only recruiting for ireland, aus and new zealand. are there any other sites like this and realistically how much time do you have to put in? eg is it feasible to do it alongside a full time job?

I will do, although my confidence has taken a bit of a battering after being turned down for the other one

In the last few days they were advertising for the UK, you have to keep checking the website and apply immediately when you see UK jobs advertised.
