MBNA - Data Protection

in Credit cards
Hi, not sure if this is the right place, but I'm new here.
I have missed a payment on an MBNA credit card and have received several phone calls from them regarding this.
My query is as follows: their most recent call was taken by my wife. Although she is an Additional Cardholder, it's not a joint account. They hassled her for payment of the overdue amount and, having asked her 2 of my security questions (place of birth, mother's maiden name) prroceeded to tell her about the balance on the card, how much was overdue and when the last payment was made. They had no way of identifying my wife (no security questions, etc) and, although they did ask her name, could have been speaking to anyone. Are they in breach of the Data Protection Act and, if so, what should I do?
Thanks for any advice.

Depends what your t&cs say. Most won't speak to additionals, but some will and this should be specified.0
