I tried using some coupons in asda the other day and they would only accept them if I bought the product??

Usually I try and put them in my handbag to remember!

I do the same - keep coupons inside purse. I usually have a mix of loads of different ones, so I also write "Coupon" on shopping list itself beside the item to remind me I've got coupon for it - also if there's a min spend on the coupon ( eg 25 points when you spend £2 or more on fresh veg at Tesco) I write the min spend beside the item on my list so I won't get the coupon refused if I haven't spent quite enough on it. Ideally I sort the coupons out in purse before I go so all the ones I plan to use are at front. Doesn't always happen though, but at least with the shopping list marked I know what I should be rummaging for when I get to the checkout.

I have a drawer in my kitchen where I keep them all and then when I do the shopping list I have a root through and pull out any relevant ones. These I then wrap round my loyalty card. Not completely fool proof but better success rate than previous methods!

I got a small see through make up bag as a free gift on a magazine. I put all my coupons in this and store it in the section of my handbag with my purse. It's got a bright pink zip on it, so I see it every time I reach in for my purse and it reminds me to use them.
Here I go again on my own....

I used to keep them in my wallet/purse, in the flappy bit. But I still forgot they were there.

Now I'm trying putting the vouchers in the same part of my credit card wallet as the appropriate loyalty card, so I see them when I get the loyalty card out.

yes, most branches will, depends on the cashier i think. try a young lad who looks like he'd rather be at home, cos you know he won't pay much attention to what you're giving him!!
