in Credit cards
I have a Tesco card with £3k on it. The deal has run out so I applied for a Halifax cc. I have a perfect credit record and regularly pay £1k off per month on the account.
I have been approved for a Halifax cc but only have £500 credit limit which will be reviewed after 6 months !
Therefore, the 0% period of 10 months is next to useless !
I haven't activated the account as yet...should I just cancel it and will this show on my credit record as a settled account ?
Is anyone able to suggest a cc which is more flexible on the credit limit ?
My old Sainsburys card offered me £2.5k, my current tesco card is £8k and yet, Halifax offer me £500 !

Maybe they've offered you that limit because your level of debt/available credit is too high compare to your income.
£500 at 0% is still better than nothing.....0 -
Try for a Sygma creation card, they usually give you a 2k ish limit.
If the Halifax card has 10 months on purchases then spend £499 on it and put the cash saved against the Tesco card on top of the usual £1000 per month.
Sainsbury card might offer you a repeat deal if it,s still open. They offered me 7.9% lob deal a few weeks ago.I have a deep burning indifference0
