Best bank account

Hello
I am currently with Nationwide, however now that the free usage of debit cards abroad has stopped, i have heard the the interest rates are very low.
I pay in just over £1200 a month. Does anyone know of a decent bank account that i would get the most out of? I don't need the free insurance etc...
I also have an isa, would that need to stay with Nationwide or can it be transferred?
Thanks

LTSB Classic (with Vantage) is a good account to open, since you have am monthly income of £1200. http://www.lloydstsb.com/current_accounts/vantage.asp
For the ISA, it's up to you to close it or not. Some banks allow transfers in.0 -

Pesonally, I'd be transferring my ISA elsewhere, if you don't have £9,000+, for example, the Halifax Direct ISA Reward.0 -
I only have about £1700 is the best option to keep it with Nationwide until the end of the year?Oxfordmark
