best second hand automatic family car

julie03

we need a new car, clutch has gone on our mondeo and is gonna cost nearly a £1000 to fix

would prefer an automatic but needs to be large enough for a car seat, and booster and a skinny teenager which our mondeo manages

so what automatic is best considering the car will be about 8-10 yrs old and we only have about £1500 maybe more

thanks

Another Mondeo??

I drive a honda civic auto. It is over 6 years old, and I have never had a minutes bother with it. It starts first time every time, no matter what the weather.

I know you'd be looking at an older model, but I've heard nothing but good things about them.

Just flogged a 2005 2 litre Mondeo Automatic with 32,000 miles on the clock to We Buy Any Car for £2165. Felt I got done but I could not sell it privately and the car is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it.
