NPower Prepayment Meters

I'm hoping someone out there can help me understand these dreadful things

We used to have a massive debt on the gas bill, but think this may have been paid off.:j

Screen 27 lists 'owed £0.00'
Screen 25 £8.40, Screen 26 £10.00 (which i believe are both weekly amounts taken, can someone clarify??)

When i put money on the card the other day it took £2.22 for debt, anyone know why? Will it still take those weekly amounts if the debt is 0?

We could probably do to stay on a prepay meter as our income / work situation is a bit sketchy at the moment, but obviously don't want to pay extra for money we don't owe.

screen 27 shows that you owe nothing, screen 25 & 26 are the maximum and minimum weekly payments that the meter would be happy with.

it looks like the balance has been cleared :j

just watch the meter as there is a daily standing charge of 44p a day which comes off the meter at 2am, or if there is no money or your using the emergency that daily charge builds up in the background so when you go to top up you have money taken from a couple of top ups (dependant on how long you have been using the emergency or had no money on the meter) to pay it back.

Thank you - that explains the £2.20 odd thing then, we've been a bit lazy/too busy to top it up this week!
