Experian...Rating is 807

Options
Hi all,
I have been worried for a while that my credit rating would be quite low. I am saving up for a house deposit and would like a mortgage in the next 2/3 years.
I logged in today and my rating was 807 on Experian, is this any good for a 22 year old?
I am slightly confused because it does not show up a car HP from Black Horse or an outstanding phone contract. I also thought my rating would be alot lower. All of my linked addresses are up there so would 807 be accurate?
To cut a long story short I get up to the below:-
Have a HP from Black Horse, £1000 deposit, 2 more years left, never missed a payment.
A Lloyds Graduate Account with an overdraft of £2000 which all of my salary goes into and I have savings of £2000 so could easily reduce it.
An Orange phone contract for work but a contract before this which, afraid to say I have been a nightmare with, partly to do with being a student and not paying it on time. I also upgraded this phone in May to a work phone for graduate job but did not finish paying off the first contract so it is 5 months overdue. I have just contacted Orange customer services to sort this out as do not want any CCJs, bit immature of me as I am so disorganised but sorting it out.
Halifax Bank Account with a £400 overdraft on it with an arrangement to pay £50 a month to finish it off. I hate this bank and just want to close it down so sorting it out.
- I don't know but a score of 807 seems too high for me.
Any light?

  • The score means absolutely nothing at all. You might as well just ignore it.

Thats because the score is meaningless and a waste of money, remember experian do not lend money so it would be quite easy for them to charge customers to give a credit rating score.

Cut a long story short by your missed payments and everything means you would be a very high risk to lend money to.
