Don't leave... lol!! I work for them, so am biased, however have a look at the 'first directory' package and see if that would work for you. Currently 3 months free but last day Monday. Not sure if we're offering again.I work for first direct and have previously worked for Santander.
Any information I give should not been seen as being given from first direct or Santander however I do have certain knowledge from working there.

Having held a Barclays Premier account not a great deal of time ago, for all of one day, I can offer only one piece of advice
DON'T MOVE TO BARCLAYS PREMIER.
You will have to say hello to:
An IVR when you call
Incredibly long call queues (upto 90 minutes)
A highly inflated account fee
Worse interest rates
Incompetent telephone and branch staff that profess to know what they're talking about but actually talk utter garbage
etc etc.
