Thanks OP
I got mine on the 26th Oct the email came through really quickly. Was in Lincoln so went to the store on the 27th Oct and the mos put it through without any problems. Bought £6 pack of socks for the little ones stocking filler and paid a quid, DH used his on an advent calendar for the little one, some sweeties and Christmas gift tags £5. The person took the voucher without any problems. They both seemed to know about it, not sure how impressed the guy was with me getting £5's worth of stuff for free but thank you OP and thank you Debenhams.

I used my vouchers today and the assistant was very helpful. Thanks to OP for highlighting what must be one of the best freebies on here. I hope that although we have all taken advantage of this, we will in the future remember that stores have to make a profit to stay in business and secure jobs for staff and will look at Debenhams to shop first. I thought that it would be a good gesture to email Debenhams customer services to say thanks and have written saying how impressed I was with their offer which is so rare today, and that you wouldn't see such an offer with a well known store who supposedly is never undersold. Well Done Debenhams0

Just looked at this today and THE OFFER HAS EXPIRED. Obviously been too successful.
Hope they will still honour vouchers up to 12 Nov.0 -
Used mine in the Redditch store today. Assistant said it was £5 off, not a £5 voucher and that I had to spend more than a fiver, as I tried to buy one large Kilner jar for £4.50. I picked up another Kilner and went back to the till, the jars scanned for £4 each and I spent £3 on two 2l Kilner jars for my preserves:T
Agree with the comment by betman and will be emailing Debenhams to say thanks!0 -
This was a great offer - shame I was too late!0

I got my voucher after it appeared on Martin's weekly newsletter. Took into my local store today and had a lovely necklace and earrings set, was originally £20, reduced to £10 then again to £5 and ultimately free with my voucher. The assistant just had my voucher from me and it went through the till with no problem. Great freebie :T0
