  • I think Debenhams is a great store, with or without voucher. Their customer service is great, as is the quality of alot of items. It has certainly made me spend money as well as save money so both Mr Debenhams and I are happy :D

May have a trip to TELFORD this week. Also, if anyone knows the area,is there any free parking nearby??
  • Also, I've just realised, this promotion isn't much different to when they offer free delivery or 15%/20% off - I'm sure it costs them at least a few quid for delivering to customers home addresses.

So by giving customers £5 off with no minimum spend, they seem a whole lot more generous so they benefit from the extra publicity by word of mouth etc. They have more customers coming into the store and there is a greater advantage with in store shopping in that many customers will see something else they like and end up spending more than the voucher value - unlike with online shopping where you wouldn't be so tempted by other items.

So in essence, say if delivery were to cost them £3, they are just paying £2 out of their pockets - very cheap publicity!

Either way, I love Debenhams :)

Separate unique codes, so you'll need another email address for each voucher.

Is anyone going to own up to their voucher tally so far? :o

Hi, I'd be really interested in the answer too! Its not my local store but nearly all stores are located centrally and so usually expensive parking.
I think Telford has free parking on thur 5-8pm?? (found it on an old review somewhere). HTH. and happy shopping!
