Sorry i know i said the previous question was the last but i got another one:
Basically i was gonna go to debenhams tomorrow. I got two vouchers from my sister (with two separate codes). She printed quite a few of each. She hasn't used any yet. My dad also took 2 from her to go tomorrow. I told them i wont be able to go then if he's gonna use the same codes as me but neither of them listened. My dad also took the other copies off of her to use im guessing. Im warning them that the system might flag up that the code has already been used after he uses the first one, but he doesn't seem to be listening. However, i don't actually have any experience of this and im just guessing as the codes are unique, so im assuming that if the code gets used up, and then it gets used again, it will deffo flag up. This is me just guessing.
Has anyone actually managed to successfully buy twice, both times using the same code?0 -

NO. The woman in front of me yesterday had hers rejected because she'd used it before, and it was so embarassing - the assistant was really horrible to her, saying "people like you make it worse for everyone else".... The code clearly flashes up as being used.
I then used mine (printed from my third e-mail address) with no problems at all0 -
I used three yesterday (from different email addresses) and the SA had to type in the code - so surely, like the above poster says, it will be flagged up as being used. Can you warn your Dad before he leaves?I :heartpuls M.S.E.

I think it might depend on the store you are at, and the voucher you have got. When it first started, the vouchers had barcodes. Most SA didn't know how to put these in, so they just keyed it in as 'another voucher' or something like that, and then put a big cross through the voucher and slipped it into the till. As the number is not entered into the till at the same time as the transaction, it could then be used again by printing it off again. However, the new one that was issued a few days after now has a unique number on it. Reading through this forum and seeing what the SA did yesterday, I think they key this number in with a 'gift card code'. Once this has been used, you can't use it again, as it will flag up and potentially be quite embarrassing. The only way to get round the univoucher code is to set up some new email addresses and send more to yourself. This is what I would advise you to do if you are at all worried about the problem with your dad's one. Then you can be sure it hasn't been used. Seriously, it only takes a few minutes to set up a new email account. Then, it's always there if you need it for another glitch. The email gets sent to you quite quickly to print off. It sometimes arrives in your spam box. HTH0

My email has appeared on my voucher, are yours not appearing when you print it off or am I printing the wrong thing? or are you cutting it off?

I used 3 of the same barcode at 3 different tills. It wasnt scanning so they typed in 'code6' on the till
. Worked.

I used mine last night and the bar code was typed into the till, as a gift voucher....
Didn't dare use another one with same bar code, not worth the embarrassment.....
