  • I also had my own shopping bag to put their bags into, as I didn't want them to notice all the Debenhams bags. Although I have had problems with staff not knowing how to key it in, have to say that everyone was polite and not at all snotty. I would say that lately, Debenhams does seem to do better in customer service than M & S. However, I will be able to judge more as I will probably be visiting Debenhams a few more times!
  • Black and white. No problem at all.

I used 1 and my sister used one yesterday. We both acted like we never knew each other lol. My sister went first and i could see the SA looking at the paper all over haha. And then when I came, she glanced at the paper and when she gave me the total, I gave her the paper and she raised her eyebrows. I don't think she realised that I saw though. I managed to get a lip gloss set and some eyeliners for free. Woot! :)

Anyways can i just ask to those that did 1+ on the same day: did you go to the same till? If you did, did the SA's kick up a fuss?

No way, I went to different tills each time!!! :rotfl: I'm running out of tills! Maybe a disguise for next week would be in order. :T
I did two on the same till, and just said that one was for my husband's email address and she was fine about it. I think that if you pay the remainder by cash, they are more likely to put it through as the till will recognise it as two separate transactions. if you pay them both by card, then it will flag up. I definitely would not use a card for that reason.

    Same here.

p.s. mine are all printed in b/w.

  • Also, I've used two vouchers and on both occasions I was given the voucher back and told that I can use it again! Although, I don't want to risk the embarrassment as I'm sure when they enter the unique code, something will flag up.
  • When I am nervous, I just babble on, so I start talking about my husband and his dislike of shopping etc, so I think they are desperate to get rid of me in the end, and put both through. I am going to take my friend tomorrow, as she is a Debenhams voucher newbie.

Sorry if this has been posted already!

I just got my voucher in my inbox, and tried again using .googlemail.com instead of .gmail.com as this is usually recognised as 2 different email addresses.

I got 2 vouchers, with different codes on :)

Have done the same with my DH's email account and got 2 there as well :j

    Sorry last question i promise:

You know the little brand tills, can you use them too? Or do you have to get something from that specific brand in order to use that till?

I've always wanted to know this, as i always just use the general till.

No, you can use them. I usually just ask if I can pay there as there are queues at the main tills. HTH!
