    RE: Debenhams £5 voucher offer

My wife and I registered for this offer more than 24hrs ago and have received no email from Debenhams! Anyone else finding this a problem?

Me too, both hubby and I registered and nothing, not in the spam folder either, going to try with my son's hotmail account and see if that receives it.
Real men never follow instructions; after all they are just the manufacturer's opinion on how to put something together. :p

Did they scan the first voucher? The Debenhams I have been going to key it in as another voucher, and don't look at the number on the bar code. They just input it as 'another voucher' and then cross out the voucher.
It wouldn't scan so they typed in the bar code.
  • how do i register for another voucher? cant find the advert anymore ??x
  • It was on the first post.

    Here's the link again.

I suppose it depends on how they input it. They have been told in ours to just put it in as another voucher, and didn't bother with the barcode, if it didn't scan.

The staff are morphing into Tesco staff with the exclusions they are coming up with today. Tried to get a warehouse necklace and a Wallis ring today and told by two different counter staff that all concessions excluded . They claimed they had a list of dept excluded . Wished I had asked to see it but wasn't brave enough. So apparently it is only stuff marked as Debenhams brand. It does seem a huge mess up they take forever keying it in. I bet they are regretting this .

Mine have gone through no problem but it is making me really  that people are being treated in this way by staff at Debenhams. Please print out the T&Cs on the email and bring it with you to avoid embarrassment/a wasted trip. I know we shouldn't have to, they should be trained to process the voucher with such a huge promotion. Not good enough Debenhams!!!
  • There doesn't seem to be a standard approach at all, so people are allowed things, and some aren't. Hasn't worked out that well

Fantastic - many thanks for this
Kidderminster Debenhams no problem at all - the cashier said she had been accepting vouchers all morning.
Then she asked or suggested that people could print another voucher out???

    Many many thanks:T
  • To be honest, even though there are some problems with the staff sorting the vouchers out, it is worth it for the little stocking fillers that you can get. There seem to be good bargains in all departments. Didn't need any, but I saw some really nice big Christy towels with 70% off, down to 6 pounds, so only 1 pound to pay. Also saw some pretty John Rocha boxed photo frames reduced to 6 pounds, so only a pound to pay. Would be great as a gift. Normal value is 20 pounds, so a real bargain.

If their purpose was to draw you into the shop, then it is certainly working as I intend to go in there lots more :j

I got nike dry running socks today for £1 (with the voucher). They didn't put the code in as the staff didn't know how to use it, will try tmrw to get something else in different debenhams.
