  • Hi everyone,
Ive used a few of these vouchers successfully using the gmail dot trick, but am starting to panic as i have a few left to use. I'm planning on going to the Newcastle branch after work tonight and will use as many as i can in case they get blocked. Has anyone used them with success today? I'd hate the embarrassment of being turned away for cheating. lol. Thanks!

Why the panic? Have some debs staff turned people with gmail account using the dot trick away? I've used around 12 so far and have another 6 to use up. all are gmail ones. Used 3 yesterday, no problems encountered.

  • They've blocked the voucher codes to people on gmail? or do you know you have been blocked? I have got 2 left to use, I think it might be from my gmail account....

A few days back some gmail users who requested multiple vouchers using the "plus" system e.g. I used myusername+mum@gmail.com to get a voucher for my mum got an email from debenhams saying their voucher codes had been cancelled.

Having said that though I did use 1 of vouchers received to this address yesterday although it was the 1st one I got without anything tagged on the end of my username and was a barcode voucher so that may be why it slipped through?

If you've not heard from debenhams I would think you'll be alright

Just the two today! I used another paper voucher and a text code, got the following:

Another Christy bath sheet - £6.30 in the sale so £1.30 to pay
Another Christy hand towel - £3.30 in the sale
    WITH
A pair of Wallis Bronze stud rose earrings - £2 in the sale so 30p to pay

    Total spend £2.60, wayhey!!!!

I still have a few more paper vouchers, might try them over the next couple of days. And OH has a spare phone so I will try to persuade him to sign up for a code and forward it to me.

Even if I don't get to use any more I must say I have done very well already lol. I have used the grand total of 32 vouchers and spent less than £50 in total. A lot of the stuff was 70% off too. :)

Congrats on all your bargains my fellow MSEers! I wish I had the patience to try on bras etc in the sale sections but it is one of my least favourite activities - nothing ever fits and the lighting is always horrible! :rotfl:

I had an email from debenhams saying I couldnt use my 2 vouchers so from gmail so I didnt as I was scared that they wouldnt work and I would be embarassed, I only did 2 aswell, never mind. Do you think they might still work?

I have used 5 so far and managed to get:

Some christmas cards and tags for 10p
Tommy Hillfigger aftershave for £6 instead of £22 as it was on half price at £11
Some Ben Sherman sport socks x2 as they were £3 a pack instead of originally £10 so got them for £1.00
    Lynx giftset for 50p
A vinegar and oil set for £1.50

Total spend would be £69.00 but I got it al for £9.10

    :)
