nPower / Quidco query
I switched to the nPower 'dual-fuel' (Juice) option in August 2010
The cashback on offer was £150.
Nothing tracked - but I wasnt overly concerned about that as the 1st payment of £75 wasnt due until the switchover was concluded & I was connected.
Well I am now connected and an NPower customer - but nothing!
How do I chase this up?
I know I signed up correctly (Quidco veteran of 4 years) - but now getting a bit worried.
Anyone else sign up to this in Aug?

I see there is an nPower rep helpping out on the MSE forums - could you advise me of what to do?0

Hi, on the transactions page , have you tried the 'compose cashback query' , I think you have 7 weeks from the 'purchase date' to put in a query.?0
-
Now I am worried!!!
This is the message I am getting when trying raise a query via Quidco!
There is no record of a visit to npower in the last 7 weeks. Contact us if you wish to ask a question about a transaction with this merchant.
Because £150 cashback was a stake, I took extra care & attention when signing up to nPower, ensuring that the whole transaction was conducted online, clicking the correct links etc
I am not happy!!!0 -
Hi, what date in August was the transaction, it might be that it is actually past the 7 week deadline, however when you go to compose an enquiry there is a drop-down menu under the heading of 'merchant'. - this should list every retailer you have ever visited through Quidco-is npower listed there? By clicking on these it gives the terms and condition relating to each transaction.0

Hi Keith. It was 29th/30th Aug, so thats about 7-8 weeks?
Ive contacted them - but I waited for my supply to be confirmed (yesterday) & now that I am connected to nPower, I can say 'yes, I am a customer' whereas I wasnt a week or 2 ago
If it doesnt go through, I'll just leave nPower!0 -
Hi, I realise it is a bit of a problem knowing when to put in an enquiry however when switching energy suppliers I have found it best to enter an enquiry as soon as soon as I get the account number etc. There does seem to be a few problems with Quidco lately which is why I use Topcashback when possible. The only thing you can try , assuming the transaction is listed under 'merchants', is to submit as a 'support message' and see if they listen. Good Luck !0

How does Quidco know when you've made a transaction? I swapped suppliers yesterday and nothing shows on Quidco. When is that supposed to happen?0

Did you clear your cookies before you signed in to Quidco and clicked through to NPower?
If not it may not have tracked.
For this reason I always use a separate browser for cashback transactions. No free lunch, and no free laptop
