Stupid! Quick question....How do I insert a website link into my listing Please?

:o As the title says I have just listed something and in the past I have just copied and pasted a website page (save me typing all the spec for something) into my item description and pressed enter and it automatically made it a link that you can click on.

It won't do that it just shows the writing but not as a link?

It's probably something really stupid but I just can't seem to get it to work! :o

Help please?!

Thanks! :D

Is it your website page you copied and pasted? If not, that is theft.

Even if it is your website you would still possibly be in breach of ebay rules as you are not allowed links to sites, even your own, where items can be purchased outside of ebay.

    Thanks guys.

    It's nothing dodgy! ;)

I have always done it in the past I'm selling an old mobile phone and just wanted to insert a link to the spec page on the Samsung website which has the full details of the phone, previously worked with other electrical type things I have sold in the past?

In order to stay within the spirit of the weblink policy, I don't have any weblinks in my listings, but I sometimes add a web address (which appears as text, rather than a link) in the description, where viewers can find out more detailed (non-commercial) information.

I don't know if this makes any real difference, but technically, I have not inserted a link, and therefore don't fall foul of the weblink policy. Anyway, I've never had a listing pulled for breach of the weblink policy, so eBay would appear to be happy.
