  • Tooch, hugs and im thinking about you.

only you can decide if you need to go or not, from the sounds of it, it seems like you said your goodbyes a long time ago. if its to far to go and you dont want to go, its ok you dont have to go if you dont want to, then why not do something extra special that day to take your mind off things?

Tooch - don't know what to say. I went to my dad's funeral so the family could all see me (and I am a jelly usually) NOT cry...

(We also went in my sister's flash car;) - basically the message was 'we have done alright without him in our lives')

I love the extra jolt of inspiration that this thread gives me, I had forgotten how good it was :D

So far, in addition to the above I have:

    • Done the dishes and wiped down the kitchen surfaces
    • Stripped last night's chicken and made dinner with leftovers (enough for lunch tomorrow too!!)
    • Three loads of washing in total
I still have some stuff to do today, but I'm quite pleased with Day One so far. Thanks to all for the motivation :T

Funny that I get called "Scatty Natty" too.. We must be twins..lol:j

Tooch hope you are okay honey, please be gentle with yourself and look after yourself at this time. Even though you weren't in touch it will still be a shock to you, allow yourself time to grieve please. *gentle hugs*

Hmm haven't got anything else done I'm afraid after my major clear up this morning - friend never came over for lunch, which I'm fuming about as she specifically said she was when we got back from me taking her to the vets this morning. I had to get up especially to take her for an early appt, the least she could have done was come over as agreed - heck she could have even rung me. Funnily enough when I rang her the phone kept ringing, yet I knew she was in as I could see her light on downstairs. (She only lives 10 doors from me!)

Did declutter myself off to the Drs and have my meds for the Bipolar increased :( All good though, just wait for them to take effect now :)
