Okies-I have been a busy bunny-

Just been to the Post Office and sent off my letters to creditors with token payments of £1 Postal Orders. Also sent one to my ex Landlord(after them finally giving me an address to post to) with the keys to the premises and a full account of the problems, plus a request that the fact of the sum of money I have thrown at the place plus all the problems that have caused me time and money-which were their problems to sort out not mine.I am happy to go to Court about it as I have a strong case for negligence on the part of the Landlord.
Also posted Barclays rejection of offer letter the charges are now up to £2640 and they offered me £1K
Posted the letter to the A & L about a new share certificate-these will be sold asap
Found out that my ex*******husband has not paid his CSA payments since August-I was charged £35 as there was not enough £'s in my account to pay the rent last month and I thought it was odd.....I am going to request he pay this charge as why should I?(fume)
Been listing like billyio on eBay all my stock and furniture and have bids.
Moved money from Isa into new bank account and will have to switch payments and dd's etc into this before I can send bank a creditors letter/token payment. Is this right-can someone confirm please?

I have decided to stick to working 3 days a week as although earning money to get myself out of this mess is important-so is my health.

Just read through your story, I'm sure you are doing the right thing. At least you have a trade that you can always earn money with. OK maybe not as much as if you had your own salon, but you don't need anything like the amount of money for overheads.
I gave up my business in March, and havn't got any trade to drop back on and so money is tight at the moment but at least I sleep at night. My landlords almost doubled my rent, when the lease was due, so decided to quit while I was ahead. Commercial landlords are *********** Everything is stitched up in their favour - down to having to redecorate when you vacate, we even had ours saying that there were flurescent tubes missing upstairs, and we should replace them. It is commercial rents that are killing off the high streets. Every one wants a bite of you pie, and you end up with the crumbs, after working ******
    hard for the crumbs.

Can`t agree more.Landlords of commercial property live in ya ya land.I gave up my shop and because of the stupid, old landlords agent screwing up I got away with the full repairing lease bit. They had to sell their scuimmy property to a developer.I am seeing more and more small businesses in trouble.Hey ho,the world is in chaos and it`s gonna get a lot worse for the small business owner.Shouldn`t say it really, but I am so glad that I am in my last decade of working.God willing,in a few years time I will be able to move abroad and get out of this country.

Well done fabienne - you made some tough decisions, but the right ones. I am glad to see that life is beginning to improve already:beer:
