Oh apples....what a sad post....it has made me cry again.
Guys-I am devastated,on top of all this going on, my gorgeous 9 month pup was run over yesterday afternoon and died on the spot.I took her to the vets and begged them to resusitate her,but she was gone.
My son was walking her and she ran out of the park onto the road, silly girl-he is still very upset. My daughter is gutted. The whole family and people who knew her are upset.
I am so full of grief and not coping very well at all.I just want her to come home,it is so quiet without my beautiful little girl.
With all I have been through, this seems so cruel-when things got on top of me I took her for a long walk which cleared my head and she made me smile again with her daft capers.
I am trying to be strong for the kids bu t not doing very well,I am still in total shock about it and have cried solid since it happened.
All this financial stuff pales into insignificance compared to this.My daughter said last night that nobody could take her away from us now(she found me in tears after the bankruptcy phone call)Fabi x0 -

So sorry for you fabianne.:grouphug:I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.

Hi
It's a long time since I updated this thread and am looking for help and advice again as I am still in a mess.
Here is where I am at.It may turn into a long post.
I took over control of my debts and have been in contact with my creditors.
This is the progress:
Mint card were hard work but finally have agreed to token payments of £1 for 6 months period-got a Default notice though
Egg Card were great and gave me 6 months grace with nil payments but now have issued a Default Notice and have passed it onto a Debt Collection Agency.I am now waiting to hear from them.
Barclaycard have been the worst by far-I keep repeating that I have no money to pay the arrears or for the minimum payment -they refuse to freeze interest and charges-they have hassled me with phone calls, now passed it onto a DCA and have issued a Default Notice. They are currently threatening to send an agent round to the house to discuss payment terms with me-this is a problem as I now work from home and do not relish the prospect of them turning up and causing embarrassment if I have a customer here.
Barclays Bank Personal, Business accounts and Business Loan-have received Termination notices for all accounts.Sent them letters and SOA to show my situation-they are saying they will apply charges daily on business ones.
I am at the Court stage with Barclays bank-Court date set for 24th April.I want to obtain a cheque payment if I get the charges back as Barclays have added to this business debt problem and I want to spread repayments equally rather than it just go back to Barclays. Can I do this?
I took ex husband to a Tribunal for the CSA and lost so he only pays under £100 per month for 2 teenagers and have lost the will to fight him.
United Utilities have been a pain regarding a 2 water bills left over from the business. There was only 1 meter so the tenant in the flat upstairs was getting her water free and muggins was paying the bill! Wrote to them and OFWAT-but was deemed a '3rd Party Dispute' and I have to pay or take ex Landlord to Court, which I cba doing. So I have to cough up.
Life is a struggle.I am working as hard as possible to keep my head above water yet give the kids a decent life. All cheque payments go straight into bank and I try my hardest not to use my debit card for anything-this money is kept to pay the DD's,rent etc.I sort my cash out into sections for food, fuel, stock, postage (eBay sales)dogfood (we now have 2 after losing our girl-and if this seems irresponsible as I am in debt adding 2 more mouths to feed-they are a positive thing in our family esp after our tragic loss ,my social life is basically walking them every day and it helps with the stress of debt and gives me focus)kids expenses.Anything left over gets put into the bank.
I am working from home and am earning ok money but it never seems enough-I don't feel ready to look for another job as the stress of the last 6 years has taken it's toll and I need a period of calm.I just feel I am coasting along on my own and dread the post and phonecalls even though I have tackled it.Fabi x0
