Free Listing Above 99p?

Hi, I just checked my email and last week ebay sent me an email stating the the passing weekend would allow me to list on ebay for free, no matter what the cost.

I feel gutted that I missed it, and was wondering if they'll be doing something like this any time soon? I have a bunch of things I want to sell above £100, the problem is, I want the listing price to start at £100, and you know how ebay is... Insertion fees would kill me. (they still charge you if the listing didn't sell. :()

Thanks!

But from what I understand, the 'Free Weekend' only waves the listing fee, not the paypal or final value fees

Aww, yes. But what I remember from useing ebay years ago was the fact that insertion fees where like £10 for £100. I might of been wrong though.

Yeah, I think even now some cars can cost upwards of £30 to list for a relatively short period!

Insertion fees are now considerably less than they were in the past, in some of my categories are now pay a third of what I used to pay 4 or 5 years ago. The FVFs are the dear bit now.

However, I hope you managed to catch the tail end of the free listing last night and got everything you needed listed!

you only pay final value fee if you sell the item. There is no free ride on the final value fees.
