Online banking problem - recent transactions not showing up :(

Has anyone had a similar problem?
I use online banking with LloydsTSB, and all transactions for the past 5 days are not showing up on our cheque account statement. This includes transfers from one account to another which are showing up clearly in the second account, but not in the problematic cheque account.
Also, the balance for cheque account agrees with the statement (which isn't updating) but the 'amount available' (that includes available overdraft) seems to reflect the transactions that have happened in the past 5 days. So it's confusing and bit of a nuisance!
I rang the bank today and they were helpful but at a loss for what was happening, and I have been given a complaint number - though I'm not sure I was really making a complaint. I was actually enquiring if there was a possible computer glitch. I was told it might take a week for the complaints department to contact me, by post....
Does anyone have experience of this, and might it just correct itself? I'm an eternal optimist!
Thanks

Sorry to hear about what's happened.
I think the adviser you spoke to was new and did not know what was happening that is why he raised a complaint- he really shouldn't unless you wanted to make one...
It happens sometimes with Lloyds systems. It is rare but it does happen from time to time. Mainly at weekends and late at night when the system is updating. (It has been to know happen in day too).
It will rectify itself in a few hours...0 -
iereboy, thanks for reply. I've been with Lloyds bank online almost since it started and never had this problem, though it's bound to happen from time to time as you say. I've just checked again this morning and it still hasn't updated. I'll leave it till tomorrow and if there's still a problem will ring them again.
I didn't think a complaint was the way to go, not yet anyway. It's unfortunate that it has happened to the account we use the most!0 -
Wow the day when internet banking never existed, Go to the ATM and print a mini statement if you want to see tracsactions that bad.0

But that's the thing pcombo... the statement itself isn't being updated no matter how I look at it. Plus statements online, including mini ones, and balances from ATMs don't agree with one another. It's a bit of a mess.0
