Does this ever work?
I remember years ago on Windows XP me and a mate used it a few times without issue via msn messenger and email absolutely no problems.
But ever since about 5 years ago it has never ever worked. Tried it several times over the years in the vain hope it works. Tried it via XP, Vista and today Windows 7. Via messenger and via email and it just refuses to work after you type the password part of it.
I seem to remember it worked in the days of usb broadband modems, so I'm assuming it's probably something to do with router and modern day internet security firewalls.
Anyone got any advice on what defiantely to check for or even better a failsafe way of actually getting the thing to work?

Thanks very much looks like teamviewer is the easiest and best for what I want to do. Will test it out on my mates machine sometime next weeks.
Thanks again.0 -

Just to say thanks once again, used teamviewer with my mate, absolutely no problems.
Really fast to connect and really easy once connected to get into my mates machine and clear out the rubbish, download software and perform a security scan and do other bits and pieces and it was lightening fast to move around.
Thanks again!!! :T:T:T:T:T0
