CB JSA and NIC

After ones 6 months on Contribution Based JSA do your NI credits also stop?

    Oh right, so in order to continue to receive NIC you have to sign on every 2 weeks but do you have to show that you are actively looking for work even though you're not receiving any JSA anymore just NICs?

    Yes you do you are still getting benefits ie nics

    Yes, its important to do so as it has an impact on future benefits and also has an impact on your state pension.

    Again thanks. But if you have 30 years of NIC behind you it doesn't really matter does it as if I understand it correctly you only [now] need 30 years of NICs to be eligible for a full state pension.
