Sending POP email from ipad using 3g Voda sim.

I have a 3g ipad and have cut down a contract sim from a Voda BB dongle.
Internet works fine, receiving email is also OK, only problem is I cannot `send` email from the ipad using my ntlworld email account.
On my iphone I can send from the same account using send.vodafone.net as the outgoing server but for some reason the same does not work on the ipad.
Both sims (iphone and ipad) are Voda contract sims.
Any advice would be welcome.
Thanks

Which OS is on your iPhone? I know the email side changed a lot on OS4.
OS4 is coming out in November for the iPad, so will get the updated email then.0 -
The OS in my iphone 3gs is 4 but had no problem sending emails before I updated it, so don`t think that is the problem.

Hi Encantador
Sorry to see that you are having issues with this, the good news is that I know what is happening here.
The settings have changed on the send.vodafone.net because this has now been decommissioned.
You do need to set up a Vodafone 360 account and then use the following outgoing settings:
Outgoing Server:smtp.360.com
Outgoing Server Port: 465
Outgoing Server requires authentication (SSL)
Use the 360 username and password as the authentication.
I trust that this will help, if you have any other questions please let me know
